    Several months ago, a gay family member came to live with us. His presence has placed me in a position to navigate new challenges that I am ill-equipped to handle. Although he is generally very understanding with my questions, sometimes I don't feel that I can address my concerns without at least some sort of insight from an outside source.

    I hope that this forum can provide me with a gay support network of my own.

    Thank you all. (!) I did notice that some of my respondants are considerably young than I am. That may help me have insight since one of my challenges is openly discussing relevant issues with my teenage daughter.
