Sober free? That's one hardcore bender. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

JK, of course. Beating alcohol is hard as hell, and just as commendable. Great job.

Thanks for all of the congrats! Its not easy because you could easily fall off he wagon. I have thought about alcohol three times especially in the store. I'm just trying to appreciate myself and pick myself right now. Don't have any friends in real life, so I really appreciatte the warm wishes!

That's wonderful! I can't imagine how hard this may be for you! I really tried to help my grandfather stop but he doesn't want to. It's great though that you're trying to stop, my dad used to smoke a lot but he quit slowly.

Aww, congratulations! Coming from someone who has seen how alcohol can really hurt a person, I really hope you will continue to do well, as it's not always something that's easy to avoid (especially when you're young in today's society). Stay strong, Yoga, stay strong. We are all here to support you whenever you need it, truly.

13 days and counting! The depression is beginning to lift even if slower than I anticipated! Do you guys or gals have anything to recommend for stress relief e.g. yoga, stationary bike, etc?

I run to relieve stress. To me, there's nothing like beating your best time or longest distance to wash your troubles away. And yoga is always good too.

Congrats on 13 days! That is an incredible accomplishment, I wish you well!

14 days and counting! I can't run in open spaces cause I don't have a guide like a bar or someone to run with. I'm thinking of buying a yoga mat, two dvds and a beginners yoga dvd + 5 cd set that is not that expensive or a stationary bike. If I could see good then I would buy a cheap bike but can't see good enough to do that. Any ideas?

Congrats! That's quite an accomplishment and living with a family of alcoholics, I know what a tough time it can be to stop.
14 days now, forever to go, right?

Yes, Clown cause both sides of my family have genetical problems with alcoholism. You see its worse with me cause I'm irish american, german and native american. How much worse can you get than those three with genetical alcoholism? It does feel like forever and I won't let it beat me. I really can do with having a bf now!

Can somebody please help me out! I'm under so much stress that I want a drink of beer or alcohol. Somebody just tell me some soothing words of wisedom. My left hand is shaking just feel overwhelmed just feel worthless. I can't get the job I want, finances aren't as good as want and I just can't get stable. I feel like crying right now.

You can make it through! Just take it step by step day by day. That's how I overcame my addiction to pornography. Things will be chaotic sometimes, but this too will pass, and I believe in you. (*hug*)
