-waves- I've been reading around since I joined to kind of get a feel for this place but this is my first official post, so I guess I'll just introduce myself then? I'm Mikayla. As that << says I'm out to myself and myself only... and I don't really know the first thing about going about it because of the situation I'm in (religious town, religious family, religious friends... yikes). There is a youth center close to downtown here that I quite like but I'm not able to get down there very often, because it's a bit of a drive and even then so it's only once a week if even that I don't have to worry about my sexuality. And it is, really, a constant worry... I'm a little terrified of being ostracized, it's why I haven't been able to talk to anyone about it. But yeah, that's the (very) short version of my story... I don't really know what the first thing to do here would be? Could I ask for some recommendations on where I should start posting?
Hello and Welcome to EC!! As for posting, you can post wherever you feel comfortable. If you realize that you put something in the wrong section, just let somebody on the staff know and we can fix it for you!
Hi, Welcome to Empty Closets! Where you should start posting sort of depends on what you are looking for. Do you need advice? Do you want to socialize? What sort of thing are you looking for right now?
I guess it would be a bit of both? I'm just terrible at voicing my thoughts D: I know I need some advice but a safe place just to talk is good too.
Wow, everyone here seems really friendly thanks for the warm welcomes... I guess I'll just jump right in lol
Hello. I hope you're not disappointed that I'm as new to this site as you are. I was hoping that it would be supporting to know that you're not the only new member on this site. It sure did help me feel more comfortable. Anyway, as for recommendations on where to start, I'm as clueless as you are. So I decided to start greeting fellow new members. It seems like a good place to start. Of course, weigh the advice of the more experienced members of the site higher than my own. Like I said, I'm as new here as you are. Anyway, welcome!
