Hi everyone! I'm a heterosexual female from Toronto. I have lots of questions about the LGBT community mostly because I've had very limited exposure to it. To be completely honest most of what I know about it comes from the media ie TV, films and I know that they are not the most reliable resource. I recently read John Irving's In One Person and it made me realize how very little I know and the misconceptions I have. I also read an article that HIV/AIDS is on the rise again and I wonder is this true? I have one FB friend you is homosexual but I never comment on it because I don't know what to say.
