I'm 24 years old, and have had an inkling that I wasn't straight since I was a teen. Came out as bisexual(although at that time, I didn't use the exact words) about two years ago, but ended up having to come out twice to my mother(only once to my brother though). Only a couple of friends of mine know, but I haven't told extended family or everyone else I'm friends with because extended family and other friends haven't really seemed open minded. Joined these forums as I've needed a place to talk to people about things on my mind, and even meet new people who I'm able to be myself with as I don't really have many to open up to other than my counselor and my brother.
