I've suppressed my real self for years after a wee fling in the late 70's I have loved both male and female so for now I'm just coming to accept that I'm Bi. Don't want to come out just yet and may never to my family (Parents in their 80's).

I have three gay friends but have not yet come out to them obviously they will be the first but I don't feel ready for that right now although I feel one suspects. Peage is his nickname for me.

Your help will be much appreciated.

Welcome... I do have a similar problem, but unfortunatelly I have no gay friends, and I'm gay. What i realised is that we must find our closest friends who will accept us for who we are to tell first (I don't think all of them will accept me, since they don't seem to have a clue I'm not gay, and I never hooked up with any girl when we met, more then 5 years...).
Find the ones that will support you and one by one start telling them, that is my plan...
    Hope it helps

    Thanks You one and All.

I feel a load had come off my shoulders tonight. I've learnt a lot about myself tonight. I've a lot to learn, what to say, what to do, how to be safe.

I think I need help Guess I need to come out to my gay friends.

Update: I'm Out, have told three people I trust none of them gay. Mind you the were all safe options, My Doctor, and Two Friends on one's a retired social worker and the other a retired Doctor. But it seemed easier than I expected.
