    Hi all,

This is the first time have ever been on a forum like this. I guess I am after some advice or support or something. I'm not even sure.

Basically I think I am gay. I think I have always been gay but have always just tried to ignore the feelings (Hope that doesn't offend anyone)

Lately the feelings have been rather strong and very confusing and an extreme depressing time for me lately because I am not sure what the hell is going on.

I am 28 and I am in a straight relationship and have a child from a previous relationship and it is really starting to make my head really fuzzy because I have no idea what to do. If this is the wrong place then that's cool but thought I would try.

    Ok so yeah Hi!

Thanks for welcomes everyone. I think I am finding this hard because I have never even met someone who is gay before. This whole thing is really confusing and I have no idea where to start with this. Even if I am I don't even know!

well, if you thinking you might be, that is pretty big chance that you are.
Is it that you find men attractive? Do you think about them during sex?

What was your first hint that you might be gay?

Well I think I have always been attracted to men. I remember when I was around 14 I got so angry with myself with some feelings I had with one of my school friends. I think I have had lots of hints that I have tried to push these things away. I think I should mention that I have had many years of mental health anguish which is nothing that I am embarrassed about but I think that this is something that has been a major part of me coming to terms with this. Also the fact that a guy I went to school with got bullied big time in full view of all over kids because he was gay. This is something that has sat with me since I was in my early teens!

    Hope all this makes sense

lewlew, check out some of the other threads where people are asking that question and see if you can relate to that. Once you figure out why you're questioning and what your feelings are, I suggest starting a new thread seperate from this wlecome thread.

Lewlew, it make perfect sense, most of us, including myself, have been bullied for being gay.

To be honest, it sounds like you are gay, the first step is admitting that to yourself, you can't go anywhere until you know where it is you're going.

Welcome =) (non creepy smile! )

Just think about it for a while to decide if you are gay, bisexual, or somewhere in between. Be happy with it before you start making any big life changing decisions

    Welcome!
As said above, give it some thought, but because you've been attracted to men since you were 14, I'd err on the side of you being gay. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    Happy to have you here.

I'm 25, and I just fully accepted being gay last week. I hope I'd end up in a straight relationship, but realized that the feelings for my very close female friend wasn't just there.

I guess what helped me accept it was to pretend I was definitely gay. And... everything just happened to make sense. I couldn't look back.

It was difficult to admit it to myself, but it was worth it in the end.

I hope whatever happens works out for you!
