Hi everyone, I've been lurking here for a while and thought it was time I registered. I'm a 50 year old lesbian who is currently married. As a teenager I told my mother I was a lesbian but she wasn't having any of that, we don't want any of that in the family young lady and promptly married me off. Now I'm trying to standing up for myself and I hope to find the courage to be me. But it's not easy. I have told only one friend and her daughter who are also lesbians, everyone else thinks I'm straight though I think one woman at work is suspicious. EC looks like a friendly place to hang out
Welcome! Sounds like you're in a tricky situation. There are quite a few of us who are married. I am, but my husband knows I am a lesbian. You'll find lots of support here.
