My short story. Within this last year, I finally stopped living in denial. I have always had interests in both men and women, but told myself that my same sex attractions were "purely aesthetic". I then magnificently burst out with a very loud TA-DA!!! This, obviously, got me some mixed reactions that have made me more understanding about time and place for telling friends/family. I quickly realized that I needed a support community. I live near Denver, Colorado and we have a, generally, open minded community but....well, I'm sure you can fill in the blanks. I found EC and immediately felt that this is a place that I need to be. That's all I got. Hope to be chatting with you all soon!
