Hello everybody! So I am new to this site (obvs), directed here after I watched a youtube video referring to this site as the safe space for LGBTQ community and I decided to check it out. My story is that I'm not from the western hemisphere, I'm from Indonesia. Am 21 years old, and knew that I am not a part of my society's type of acceptable from I was in elementary school. Since I'm so new to this forum kinda thing, can somebody suggest me what kind of things that I can do, or the basic things that I should do to be orientated to this forum? Any replies would be highly appreciated Cheers!
Hello and Welcome to EC-- There are lots of great Forums, each dedicated to different aspects of coming out and being gay. There are several that are general chat areas on a variety of subjects. These are fun to visit. Then there's the support forums, which are great for questions or simply telling your stories and getting support. I know I've learned a great deal just from reading others' threads, even when I don't comment on them. I'm new to this whole thing, too--just came out a month ago. EC has been extremely helpful to me in this process. I hope you find it to be the same. --Zoe
