Hi there, everyone! I'm a more or less happy gay guy from Russian Federation, who's about to come out to parents. And that is why I have joined this forum - in order to find some answers to my questions. In the light of recent events in Russia it's much harder to talk about homosexuality, but somebody has to, anyway. A few things about myself: I'm a lawyer, I love music and frisbee, and the most important is that I'm in a relationship with a wonderful guy. Hope to have some quality conversations here!
Hey Tunecat, welcome to empty closets. If you have questions ask away, though I kinda young and may not have all the answers. I don't how it is in Mother Russsia, but here in US in certainly can be taboo subject as well depending on where you live. Be brave if things get tough, come back to the forums, it's a excellent place for support and friendship. As to you coming out be brave man, were all routing for you! Congrats on the BF, and best wishes. =D
Welcome! I think you're really brave to come out in Russia to be honest, having heard about the beatings and the laws in St Petersburg. But then, we're not living at all if we're not living as ourselves, so I guess it's keep calm and carry on. welcome to the forum ^^ (frisbee is cool if you can actually play it, unlike me :tears
Thank you for your welcoming words! I'll explain it later how it feels to live as a gay man in Russia later
