Hi everyone~ My name is Alice and I am a nineteen year old girl. I came onto this site because I have known I was bi for over two years and yet I have no one to talk about my feelings with. Only two people know I am bi, my brother and a buddy. My brother is a little uncomfortable with it but accepts the fact. Also, my mom greatly suspects as she is constantly bringing up that if any of us kids were LBGT that she would not care. I have a fear of intimacy, which means I hate people getting physically or emotionally close to me. Therefore, I never want to be in a relationship with either gender even though I feel attraction to both. :icon_redf The main reason why I am on here is actually in relation to friendships. None of my good friends know I am bi. When I have mentioned homosexuality to a few, one told me she "doesn't believe or feel comfortable with that stuff" and another says "lesbians make her uncomfortable." To make matters even more confusing, I have had a crush on a friend. Someone who my Mom thought was a lesbian, who I think is straight and is confusing me.:help: I feel like I am hiding who I am from my friends and feel really alone sometimes because of that. I hope to meet some new friends on here to talk to. Nice to meet you all.:smilewave
Thanks srslywtf. I would love to chat to some people. Ha ha, thanks Luthan! ---------- Post added 28th Jun 2013 at 10:35 PM ---------- Oh btw, do either of you know why I am not allowed to send PM's to regular members?
I'm an expert on this issue, except not really To send Private Messages to other full members, you need to be a full member yourself. Only full members can message people, and those people must be full members themselves. To enter the chat room, one needs to be a full member. Anyone can send Private Messages to staff members. To become a full member, you must be a regular member for more than 2 weeks, and must have posted more than 50 posts, excluding those in the Fun and Games section. Then, you must apply to become a full member, which is really easy and free, and then you wait for a reply. If all goes right, you'll become a full member. If not, work on whatever is said to you and apply again once you feel you've done what you've had to. Cheers to you, and welcome again. In the mean time, you can post on other people's walls, and post in threads. I'm sure you can meet people you'll get along with. On a side note, not everyone has a publicly available wall, such as myself. You can configure your privacy as you see fit.
Hello, and welcome to EC. Feel free to post a message on my wall anytime you want to talk. I am a great listener.
