Whatever you celebrate this time of year, all of us at Empty Closets hope you have a great time with family and friends.

However we realise that this can be a difficult time of year for some of our members. Spending time with family who you are not out to, who may be homophobic and who you have very little in common with, which having little contact with friends can make this a miserable time.

Empty Closets is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year. We will be open and many of the moderators and regular members will be around throughout the holiday period. If you want help getting through, need to vent, or just want to chat with people that do understand you, we'll be here.

Perhaps you could store the address in your cellphone (if it's WAP enabled) so you can get here when away from the computer. If you turn off the displaying of avatars and signatures in My Settings it should speed the loading up a bit.
