Health Information

We have a variety of articles relating to various aspects of health, but concentrating on the more embarrassing or awkward subjects that you may not feel comfortable speaking to your doctor or pharmacist about. Please select from the menu on the left.

We also have a separate section covering Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs) including HIV/AIDs.

Please note that all information given here is for general information only and is not intended as a substitute to professional medical advice.

If you have any concerns about any aspect of your health or well-being please speak to your doctor. Although you may feel awkward discussing something certain matters with your doctor, he or she will have encountered the same problem numerous times in their career and it is just a part of their day's work.

For matters relating to sexually transmitted diseases including HIV/AIDS you should check whether there is an anonymous free sexual health clinic in your area.  These are common in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and probably many other countries, and can provide completely free testing and treatment without you even having to give your full name.

Suggestions of further articles to add are always welcomed, please use the Contact Us link to let us know what you want.
