Coming out issues.

Discussion in 'Coming Out Advice' started by BecomingEllie, Nov 10, 2014.

  1. So, as my out status says, I'm extremely not. I think I want to tell people and talk to them about it? But wanting something and actually doing it are two /very/ different things.

I like to think my friends are pretty open-minded, but it still scares me to tell them, like it would change everything. Any advice or questions super welcome.

Just try and don't make a big deal out of it. Drop some subtle hints and let them ask, then simply don't deny it and move on to talk about other topics.

    Rainbow bracelets help.

Don't go into a conversation with a friend by making them feel as if what you are about to tell them is something they should be worrying about.

  3. Well it's more than just the whole gay part. It's also the trans thing, I just don't know how to approach it.

  4. Anyone have any other advice for me?
