One Step Forward and then I'm Stepping Out

To catch up on the story thus far, see what happened previously.

Anyway onto the present day. So to summarise, I had my first gay experience at twelve years old, approaching thirteen and dare I say I enjoyed it. I got confronted by a relative and having my sexuality been asked about felt like one of the worst things I had ever been asked about. I thought that now I had tried it out, the thoughts of being gay would go away, but they never did and re-surfaced some time later around fifteen/sixteen. After enjoying little innocent fantasies whilst denying it again, I realised that I was in fact gay around 2009/2010 at the point where I was turning seventeen.

So I told various friends about this, but could never admit it to anyone close to me, until now. Well, I was getting bored of being stuck in the closet and decided to step out properly into the open and perhaps strange world of homosexuality. I wrote a letter stating my feelings to one of my closest relatives (the same who had asked me about my sexuality some years earlier) and wrote all my feelings down in an hour, in a page and a bit.

The next day, I printed it off and made the note known by casually revealing it sneakily.

I promised to show it, but it didn't actually happen until this morning when it got read. I was told that I was still the same person and that it didn't change a thing.

So glad I've managed to do it now, only got to tell the rest of my close family now as well as change my Facebook page status to Interested in Men and then I can be out as a gay man.
