um, i dont knwo how it is for some people, but if a guy i like touches me in any way, like even sitting next to me (and sometimes they dont even have to touch) i get an erection like every single time this worries me because if i ever get into a relationship i cant do anything because ill pitch a tent as soon we are alone itd be really frustrating and embarassing so do you guys think it will get better over time? and with kissing and stuff like that how awkward is it at first? or if the other person is taller/shorter than you? does stuff like hugging and cuddling come naturally with same-sex relationships or does it usually feel weird at first? sorry if this is in the wrong place
lol, I'm the same way, I tent at the drop of a hat, used to poke my ex in his sleep when we cuddled at night, lol, its nothing worrying about, some guys think its funny, but some LOVE it, haha as to what comes naturally, its all nervous at first with new relationships and first times, but it all goes away eventually, don't let it bug you, and enjoy your happy and active erections =P
ok lol as long as they go away because i already look like im 12 no need for my dick to act 12 either. does anyone have info for the other two questions? i seem to only the problem with guys but girls im pretty smooth with.
If you are still in your teens, then unwanted involuntary erections are very common. Don't worry, it does get easier to control as you get older. But if I was in a relationship with someone, I would take it as a compliment if he got an erection every time he saw me , so you shouldn't be too embarrassed in that situation. If you want to get rid of an erection, try thinking of something very awful and graphic. I find imagining a puppy getting its head run over slowly by a car tire works quite well. Gruesome, but it works. In regards to hugging and kissing, I think there's always going to be a little bit of awkwardness whenever you just start a relationship with anyone, but you should become more comfortable pretty quickly as you get some practice together. There isn't any intrinsic difference between a same-sex or different-sex relationship when it comes to hugging and kissing that would make it seem weird, although perhaps if one of you had only been in different-sex relationships previously it may seem a bit different in comparison (but I wouldn't know). edit: Toneth pretty much said everything I did while I was typing
ok thanks alot for the help guys made me feel a little more comfortable. it think im worried about the hugging because i dont do hugs in general and doing it with a guy is just more worrisome for me i guess.
i mean, wouldnt it also give off that 'this kid doesnt know what the hell hes doing' vibe? or am i just being paranoid? and ive always preferred a (slightly) taller boyfriend or a girlfriend of equal or lesser height but how do height differences paly out? i kind of have a napolean complex that i really dislike tall people and always find ways to bring them down but for some reason i really like the guys 2-3 inches taller :/ confused...
I don't have any rl experience to relate to but I don't think it would. I'd find it cute/endearing. x3 would also make for some fun teasing, hehe.
LOL. Kissing a guy give me insta-wood too. Trust me you notice it more then the other guy does. Plus it s a compliment, saying "I get wood when I think about you" might not appropriate but it s nothing to be too worried about.
~Oh looky here! A girl jump in this conversation!~ Sorry I felt like we needed some (attempted and failed) comedy in this thread. Anyway~ Don't worry about it too much, honestly once everyone realizes it's a completely normal thing for a male to experience nothing bad will come out of the social area of this. One of my friends had the exact same problem (awkward) but he's doing fine now, all it takes is time. (By fine, I mean he's been with the same guy for the past 3 years :3 there's some hope) I'm probably not that helpful..but I try xD
Uh, not to me. Gives off a "this guy is horny" vibe to me, which is fine by a lot of guys. To me, and to quite a few people I'm sure, it's awesome knowing someone you're with is sexually responsive to you. I like knowing I make a person horny. But I can see where it would be embarrassing, especially if it's happening in mixed company around people you'd rather not see you like that. My cure for The Horny is picturing Newt Gingrich naked. Works like a damn charm.
Kind of a normal guy thing. It happened to me once at a funeral, talk about awkward lol. I was grieving. Next thing I knew, a hot girl walked past - stroked my face while saying "sorry for your loss" and all I could think about was her. Our brain has one reaction, our dick a complete different. Basically it has a brain of it's own lol. Figuring all guys are like that.
i guess itll be kinda cute at first but as long as it goes away im fine and another really really dumb probably overasked question which i was reminded by a while ago, when guys have sex how do they avoid getting fecal matter on their dick i havent watched alot of porn but from what ive seen they come out clean, does that even happen irl?
Don't worry, this kind of thing usually fades over time. My advice would be to wear big clothes, baggy pant long shirt, basically anything to cover up. Again don't worry, it happens to the best of us, heck the same thing happens to me when I'm riding down a bumpy road.
In my experience, if you're kissing somebody and they notice you have a boner, they take it to mean they're doing it right. And it will probably become less of an issue once you become comfortable with your boyfriend. The tall/short thing has never been an issue with me. The tall person looks down and the shorter one looks up. Then the lips meet. It's even less of a problem if you're both sitting. And same-sex cuddling has never been an issue with me. You're either in the mood to be big spoon or small spoon and then you just cuddle accordingly. Sometimes you may both be in the mood for the same thing, but that's never caused any more of a problem for me than just turning around.
what's wrong with getting an erection around someone you are attracted to. it could be the opposite way and you could never get aroused around them. which is worse?
