Hi, I need help with figuring out my sexuality. I am a girl and think I might be gay. I have never been with a girl but I have had boyfriends but never felt anything towards them. I can admire good looking male and female celebrities but have never felt attraction towards any people I am friends with. I never get turned on by straight porn only lesbian. Maybe I am bisexual? But I really don't want to be a lesbian because I am a catholic and I think it would upset my parents. How do I know what my sexuality is? and is there anyway to make myself straight if I am not. I am still young and a teenager. I do not mean to offend anyone but I need help and I have no where else to look.

Its completely ok. It just is. Please don't deny your feelings... just take your time... there are people who got married, and regretted it later... just take the time you need to sort it out... You could stop porn for a few days and think about what kind of partner you would want... not excessively, just a bit thinking... I'd say just take the time you need... First of all, have a hug. (*hug*) Well, you might be a lesbian. Hard to say for sure; that's up to your own determination. But from what you said, you do sound gay. With more certainty than I can give about your orientation, I can say that there is no way for you to make yourself straight. I know from hearing other people's stories and experiencing my own that sexuality is something very inherent in a person, something that occurs naturally, that which people do not understand very well the cause of. There are lots of people who have tried to become straight, but they always find that they can't... I hope that you can find the support you need on EC. ^^
